Paper Abstract:

Knowledge discovery from structured data is an important task in realizing knowledge based information systems. We propose a learning method for acquiring characteristic tree patterns with VLDCs from positive and negative tree structured data using Genetic Programming. We report experimental results on applying our method to glycan data. |
